ヨハネ John 17:20-26

ヨハネ17:20わたしは、ただこの人々のためだけでなく、彼らのことばによってわたしを信じる人々のためにもお願いします。

JOHN 17:20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,

 

21 それは、父よ、あなたがわたしにおられ、わたしがあなたにいるように、彼らがみな一つとなるためです。また、彼らもわたしたちにおるようになるためです。そのことによって、あなたがわたしを遣わされたことを、世が信じるためなのです。

JOHN 17:21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

 

22 またわたしは、あなたがわたしに下さった栄光を、彼らに与えました。それは、わたしたちが一つであるように、彼らも一つであるためです。

JOHN 17:22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one:

 

23 わたしは彼らにおり、あなたはわたしにおられます。それは、彼らが全うされて一つとなるためです。それは、あなたがわたしを遣わされたことと、あなたがわたしを愛されたように彼らをも愛されたこととを、この世が知るためです。

JOHN 17:23 I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

 

24 父よ。お願いします。あなたがわたしに下さったものをわたしのいる所にわたしといっしょにおらせてください。あなたがわたしを世の始まる前から愛しておられたためにわたしに下さったわたしの栄光を、彼らが見るようになるためです。

JOHN 17:24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

 

25 正しい父よ。この世はあなたを知りません。しかし、わたしはあなたを知っています。また、この人々は、あなたがわたしを遣わされたことを知りました。

JOHN 17:25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me.

 

26 そして、わたしは彼らにあなたの御名を知らせました。また、これからも知らせます。それは、あなたがわたしを愛してくださったその愛が彼らの中にあり、またわたしが彼らの中にいるためです。

JOHN 17:26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”
