マタイ Matthew 18:1-5, 19:13-14

マタイ18:1 そのとき、弟子たちがイエスのところに来て言った。「それでは、天の御国では、だれが一番偉いのでしょうか。」2 そこで、イエスは小さい子どもを呼び寄せ、彼らの真ん中に立たせて、言われた。

MATT 18:1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 He called a little child and had him stand among them.

3「まことに、あなたがたに告げます。あなたがたも悔い改めて子どもたちのようにならない限り、決して天の御国には、入れません。4 だから、この子どものように、自分を低くする者が、天の御国で一番偉い人です。

3 And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 また、だれでも、このような子どものひとりを、わたしの名のゆえに受け入れる者は、わたしを受け入れるのです。

5 “And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.

 

19:13 そのとき、イエスに手を置いて祈っていただくために、子どもたちが連れて来られた。ところが、弟子たちは彼らをしかった。

19: 13 Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them.

14 しかし、イエスは言われた。「子どもたちを許してやりなさい。邪魔をしないでわたしのところに来させなさい。天の御国はこのような者たちの国なのです。」

14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

15 そして、子供たちに手を置いてから、そこを立ち去られた。

15 And he laid his hands on them and went away.
