ヨハネ John 20:1-23
ヨハネ20:1さて、週の初めの日に、マグダラのマリヤは、朝早くまだ暗いうちに墓に来た。そして、墓から石が取りのけてあるのを見た。
John20:1 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.
2 それで、走って、シモン・ペテロと、イエスが愛された、もうひとりの弟子とのところに来て、言った。「だれかが墓から主を取って行きました。主をどこに置いたのか、私たちにはわかりません。」
2 So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”
3 そこでペテロともうひとりの弟子は外に出て来て、墓のほうへ行った。
3 So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb.
4 ふたりはいっしょに走ったが、もうひとりの弟子がペテロよりも速かったので、先に墓に着いた。
4 Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first.
5 そして、からだをかがめてのぞき込み、亜麻布が置いてあるのを見たが、中に入らなかった。
5 He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in.
6 シモン・ペテロも彼に続いて来て、墓に入り、亜麻布が置いてあって、
6 Then Simon Peter, who was behind him, arrived and went into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there,
7 イエスの頭に巻かれていた布切れは、亜麻布といっしょにはなく、離れた所に巻かれたままになっているのを見た。
7 as well as the burial cloth that had been around Jesus’ head. The cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen.
8 そのとき、先に墓に着いたもうひとりの弟子も入って来た。そして、見て、信じた。
8 Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed.
9 彼らは、イエスが死人の中からよみがえらなければならないという聖書を、まだ理解していなかったのである。
9 (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)
10 それで、弟子たちはまた自分のところに帰って行った。
10 Then the disciples went back to their homes,
11 しかし、マリヤは外で墓のところにたたずんで泣いていた。そして、泣きながら、からだをかがめて墓の中をのぞき込んだ。
11 but Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb
12 すると、ふたりの御使いが、イエスのからだが置かれていた場所に、ひとりは頭のところに、ひとりは足のところに、白い衣をまとってすわっているのが見えた。
12 and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.
13 彼らは彼女に言った。「なぜ泣いているのですか。」彼女は言った。「だれかが私の主を取って行きました。どこに置いたのか、私にはわからないのです。」
13 They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?” “They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.”
14 彼女はこう言ってから、うしろを振り向いた。すると、イエスが立っておられるのを見た。しかし、彼女にはイエスであることがわからなかった。
14 At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.
15 イエスは彼女に言われた。「なぜ泣いているのですか。だれを捜しているのですか。」彼女は、それを園の管理人だと思って言った。「あなたが、あの方を運んだのでしたら、どこに置いたのか言ってください。そうすれば私が引き取ります。」
15 “Woman,” he said, “why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?” Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”
16 イエスは彼女に言われた。「マリヤ。」彼女は振り向いて、ヘブル語で、「ラボニ(すなわち、先生)」とイエスに言った。
16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means Teacher).
17 イエスは彼女に言われた。「わたしにすがりついていてはいけません。わたしはまだ父のもとに上っていないからです。わたしの兄弟たちのところに行って、彼らに『わたしは、わたしの父またあなたがたの父、わたしの神またあなたがたの神のもとに上る』と告げなさい。」
17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, `I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'”
18 マグダラのマリヤは、行って、「私は主にお目にかかりました」と言い、また、主が彼女にこれらのことを話されたと弟子たちに告げた。
18 Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.
19 その日、すなわち週の初めの日の夕方のことであった。弟子たちがいた所では、ユダヤ人を恐れて戸がしめてあったが、イエスが来られ、彼らの中に立って言われた。「平安があなたがたにあるように。」
19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”
20 こう言ってイエスは、その手とわき腹を彼らに示された。弟子たちは、主を見て喜んだ。
20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
21 イエスはもう一度、彼らに言われた。「平安があなたがたにあるように。父がわたしを遣わしたように、わたしもあなたがたを遣わします。」
21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
22 そして、こう言われると、彼らに息を吹きかけて言われた。「聖霊を受けなさい。
22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
23 あなたがたがだれかの罪を赦すなら、その人の罪は赦され、あなたがたがだれかの罪をそのまま残すなら、それはそのまま残ります。」
23 If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”
