マタイ Matthew 6:5-13
マタイ6:5 また、祈るときには、偽善者たちのようであってはいけません。彼らは、人に見られたくて会堂や通りの四つ角に立って祈るのが好きだからです。
Matthew6:5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men.
まことに、あなたがたに告げます。彼らはすでに自分の報いを受け取っているのです。
I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.
6あなたは、祈るときには自分の奥まった部屋にはいりなさい。そして、戸をしめて、隠れた所におられるあなたの父に祈りなさい。そうすれば、隠れた所で見ておられるあなたの父が、あなたに報いてくださいます。
6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
7また、祈るとき、異邦人のように同じことばを、ただくり返してはいけません。彼らはことば数が多ければ聞かれると思っているのです。
7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
8だから、彼らのまねをしてはいけません。あなたがたの父なる神は、あなたがたがお願いする先に、あなたがたに必要なものを知っておられるからです。
8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
9だから、こう祈りなさい。『天にいます私たちの父よ。御名があがめられますように。
9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “`Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
10御国が来ますように。みこころが天で行なわれるように地でも行なわれますように
10 your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
11私たちの日ごとの糧をきょうもお与えください。
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12私たちの負いめをお赦しください。私たちも、私たちに負いめのある人たちを赦しました。
12 Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13私たちを試みに会わせないで、悪からお救いください。』〔国と力と栄えは、とこしえにあなたのものだからです。アーメン。〕
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. ‘
