ヘブル Hebrew 12:1-3, Iヨハネ I John 5:1−5

ヘブル 12:1 こういうわけで、このように多くの証人たちが、雲のように私たちを取り巻いているのですから、私たちも、いっさいの重荷とまつわりつく罪とを捨てて、私たちの前に置かれている競走を忍耐をもって走り続けようではありませんか。12:2 信仰の創始者であり、完成者であるイエスから目を離さないでいなさい。イエスは、ご自分の前に置かれた喜びのゆえに、はずかしめをものともせずに十字架を忍び、神の御座の右に着座されました。 12:3 あなたがたは、罪人たちのこのような反抗を忍ばれた方のことを考えなさい。それは、あなたがたの心が元気を失い、疲れ果ててしまわないためです。

HEB 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.  12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  12:3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

１ヨハネ 5:1 イエスがキリストであると信じる者はだれでも、神によって生まれたのです。生んでくださった方を愛する者はだれでも、その方によって生まれた者をも愛します。5:2 私たちが神を愛してその命令を守るなら、そのことによって、私たちが神の子どもたちを愛していることがわかります。 5:3 神を愛するとは、神の命令を守ることです。その命令は重荷とはなりません。5:4 なぜなら、神によって生まれた者はみな、世に勝つからです。私たちの信仰、これこそ、世に打ち勝った勝利です。  5:5 世に勝つ者とはだれでしょう。イエスを神の御子と信じる者ではありませんか。

1JOHN 5:1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.  5:2 This is how we know that we love the children of God:  by loving God and carrying out his commands.  5:3 This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 5:4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.  5:5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
